Federal Advisory Partners (F|A|P) is looking for Associate,Staff and Senior Consultants to join our team of dynamic healthcare consulting professionals.  F|A|P is the destination for enthusiastic, results-oriented leaders committed to delivering high quality solutions to clients.

 

Our Consultants play a critical role in the continued long-term growth of the company and spend a significant amount of time interacting with clients, coordinating and leading project team members and developing and contributing to work products and contract deliverables.

Responsibilities

We are looking for varying levels of consultants with a tendency towards action, fresh ideas, the ability to anticipate where a client’s needs may be 12 months from now, and the desire to build something meaningful. 


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 
Associate Consultants
 

  • Proactively seeks knowledge of the client organization by researching background information, and speaking with team members about project scope and goals.

  • Conducts market research to identify trends that may impact client business operations, and shares knowledge during meetings and brown bag presentations.

  • Actively participates within the team and seeks guidance and feedback from team members.

  • Develops an understanding of client organizational structure and the importance of relationships.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of communication protocols with client stakeholders.

  • Identifies and resolves problems within assigned project tasks.

  • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks and utilizing available resources.

  • Accurately documents client communications and shares information with the project team.

Staff Consultants

 

  • Seeks opportunities to be involved in business development activities including, identifying potential new customers, new services, and evolving market trends and shares potential ideas and opportunities with leadership.

  • Proactively supports team members, and demonstrates a helpful and positive demeanor.

  • Provides regular guidance to Associate-level employees and initiates mentoring opportunities.

  • Collaborates with team members to develop appropriate strategies that best meet client needs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

  • Supports collaborative relationships with client stakeholders by contributing quality project work.

  • Monitors and follows project plans and documents, prioritizes daily activities to meet timelines, and escalates issues expediently.

  • Works with team members to conduct analyses of problems using relevant sources to develop solutions, and support decisions or recommendations using best practice approaches to improve project work.

  • Supports the development of internal and external presentations.

 

Senior Consultants

  • Identifies potential business development opportunities and is responsible for proposal deliverables.
  • Develops and maintaining productive relationships with clients across multiple federal agencies and internal leadership.
  • Manages expectations of service delivery and direct staff to accomplish deadlines across business service areas.
  • Develops accurate project plans and resources estimates, monitoring and tracking project execution and ensuring budgets and timelines are met.
  • Presents project deliverables and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fosters an innovative and team-oriented work environment with individual accountability and ownership to the success of the organization.
  • Enhances learning and group outcomes by facilitating educational opportunities, and providing mentorship within the group and the organization.
  • Commits to knowledge development, continuing to educate and share knowledge with clients and team members.
  • Develops and leads analytical approaches to solving complex problems.
  • Applies knowledge of market trends and competitor activities to assist in strategic planning, writing white papers, and presenting briefings.
     

Requirements

Qualifications

Associate Consultant

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a federal consulting environment; or recent MS/MPH/MBA grad with related internship/work experience.
  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables in tight timeframes.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to receive a U.S. Security Clearance (sole U.S. citizenship required).


Staff Consultants

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH).

  • Professional management consulting experience with at least three (3) years of independently leading groups and project work plans.

  • Experience leading projects, developing work plans and coordinating resources to meet deadlines for deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills,.
  • Proficient with consulting and technical tools (MS Office Suite, analytics, etc.)
  • Must be able to receive a U.S. Security Clearance (sole U.S. citizenship required).

Senior Consultants

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH).

  • Professional management consulting experience with at least six (6) years of independently leading groups and project work plans.

  • Experience leading large projects in a consulting environment, developing work plans, coordinating resources to meet deadlines for deliverables and tracking staff contributions.
  • Track record of displaying a self-starting attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient with consulting and technical tools (MS Office Suite, analytics, etc.)
  • Must be able to receive a U.S. Security Clearance (sole U.S. citizenship required).
