Job Description

The Associate Director/Senior Manager will lead the positioning and marketing efforts of Accenture's Energy Industry marketing program globally with primary focus on building brand awareness; developing and promoting key industry issue based research and campaigns to position Accenture in key market segments and geographies; and, helping to drive demand and lead generation.

Responsibilities:


Work closely with a broad group of senior level stakeholders including: Energy industry lead, Operating Unit and Client Service Group leads, Consulting Practice leads, Digital Leads, geographic marketing, cross-Resources marketing, media professionals and research teams. Contribute to the development of the industry vision and the industry program's strategic goals, objectives and strategies with integrated marketing content and plans built around:



Target clients, segments and geographies

Industry, functional and technology practices

Alliances and acquisitions

Accenture strategic priorities
Key objectives and



Responsibilities:





Maintain leading position in media share of voice. Identify and create client stories, industry insights, research and commentary that results in positive media and analyst results in Tier 1, trade and priority regional/local publications.

Differentiate with Industry Issue-Based Campaigns: Drive differentiated and competitive research and insights, enabled by innovative digital and social media channels. Facilitate the Energy Thought Leadership Council.

Position Accenture leaders and brand in key industry associations: World Petroleum Congress (WPC), International Gas Union (IGU), Global Energy Board (GEB); and, other OU specific industry groups

Drive awareness and preference for Accenture consulting practices, services, alliances and acquisitions. Create or leverage tailored content, events, case studies, co-innovation initiatives.

Build lasting client relationships. Design and deliver executive events, contact programs, promotions and experiences for target clients and influencers.

Embed Accenture strategic priorities and global marketing investments into the industry program eg: innovation architecture, New IT, cyber security, New Applied Now.

Deliver an engaging internal comms program leveraging Accenture’s collaboration and broadcast tools. Key internal stakeholders include leadership, Energy consulting practices and Energy strategy practices.

Drive strong sales and marketing integration. Sales enablement toolkits and training, opportunity centric marketing for priority opportunities.

Lead an industry focused marketing team. Manage Performance Achievement and career development for direct reports.

Demonstrate strong business operator skills. Assess and monitor performance against marketing goals and objectives; identify insights through marketing analytics; measure ROI working with cross marketing team members on identified metrics and managing budgets. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 12 years of integrated marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications:


Proven senior marketing and/or marketing communications experience; effective communications and coaching skills/people development skills

Specific industry experience a plus
Professional Skills:



Ability to manage complexity in a dynamic environment is essential; strong program management skills, agility and creativity

Proven leader with a track record for managing and motivating l, diverse teams; Senior executive presence; global experience and perspective

Business acumen is essential; strong negotiating skills; adept problem solver; good people skills

Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
Role Requirements:


Flexibility to travel internationally and domestically
